Pu\u00f2 sostituire gas o caldaie a carbone nelle industrie esistenti, per esempio negli impianti a carbone, rendendoli CO2 neutrali. Il gassificatore pu\u00f2 essere anche utilizzato per produrre syngas, e dovrebbe essere abbastanza triviale ricavarne combustibili liquidi, facendo s\u00ec che le automobili diventino CO2 neutrali.
